The Certificates of Merit program recognizes female High School students and celebrates their excellence in STEM courses!
High School Certificates of Merit Program
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) North Country section invites your school to participate in the SWE Certificates of Merit program. Each year, teachers or counselors can recommend up to three female, female-identifying, or non-binary students students in each high school that meet the education requirements of excellent performance in STEM courses and completion of (3) years of math and (3) years of science. These students can either be at the end of their Junior or Senior year. Each certification will include the student’s name, date of the award, and either “Honor,” “High Honor,” or “Highest Honor.”
The North Country section spans the state of Vermont and Northern New Hampshire.
